Community Guidelines

Cook Like A Thai Community

By Pradichaya Poonyarit

Cook Like A Thai Community is a private, paid learning space created for people who want to cook Thai food with care, honesty, and respect for its cultural roots.

These guidelines exist to protect the quality of the space, the people in it, and the work shared inside.

By joining and participating, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Cook Like A Thai Community is not:

1. This Is a Respectful, Focused Space

💠Kind, respectful, and constructive

💠Thoughtful in how you ask questions or offer input

💠Open to learning and being corrected when needed

Disagreement is allowed.

Disrespect is not.

This is not a place for arguing, grandstanding, or proving expertise.

2. This Is Not a Free-for-All Community

💠A recipe-sharing free group

💠A self-promotion space

💠A platform for affiliate links, services, or personal offers

💠A place to redirect members to your own content, channels, or products

Do not post:

💠promotional links

💠affiliate links

💠sales offers

💠recruitment messages

If you are unsure whether something is appropriate, ask first.

3. Respect the Work and the Space

All content shared within the community — including videos, teachings, guidance, and discussions — is protected

.

You may not:

💠Share, copy, record, download, or distribute content outside the community

💠Screenshot or repost lessons, comments, or feedback elsewhere

💠Share access to your account with others

This includes paid or unpaid sharing.

Violation may result in immediate removal from the community without refund.

4. This Is a Learning Space, Not a Debate Stage

Thai cooking is taught here the Thai way, based on lived experience and cultural context.

That means:

💠You may be asked to taste, adjust, and rethink assumptions

💠Westernized shortcuts may be challenged

💠“That’s how I’ve always done it” is not a teaching position

You don’t need to agree with everything —

but you do need to remain open, respectful, and willing to learn.

5. Safety, Privacy, and Boundaries

Please do not:

💠Harass, belittle, or intimidate others

💠Share private messages or personal information publicly

💠Pressure members to share more than they’re comfortable with

This community is meant to feel safe and grounded, not performative.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

To protect the integrity of the community:

💠Posts or comments may be edited or removed at any time

💠Members may be warned, muted, or removed at the discretion of the moderator

💠Removal for guideline violations is final and non-refundable

Moderation decisions are made to protect the space, not to punish.

7. If You’re Unsure, Ask

If you’re not sure whether something belongs here:

💠Pause

💠Ask

💠Or don't post it

We’d rather help you get oriented than clean up confusion later.

A Final Note

Cook Like A Thai Community exists for people who want to:

💠Learn Thai cooking honestly

💠Respect where the food comes from

💠Cook with patience, curiosity, and care

If that resonates with you, you belong here.

Thank you for helping keep this space thoughtful, grounded, and human.

Kawbkhunka.
